About this Talk

A 40 minute exploration of the inexhaustibly rich world of human movement through a cocktail of imagery, sensory cueing and various abstract, informative and suggestive material.

Gentle, mindful and innovative movements serve as the medium through which one recognizes unnecessary tensions and reflects on inefficient motor habits.

The material is both healing and educational connecting to a genuine embodied experience.

During the two sessions we will be reflecting upon the processes through which simple movements such as lifting the head in prone or lifting an arm in supine become gradually easier and more elegant.

By improving the overall organization of the moving system we get a glimpse of movement closer to how nature meant it.
